A new term is just around the corner – and with it comes another round of awesome weekly debate trainings! If you want to practice your public speaking skills, learn how to construct convincing arguments or simply want to meet new cool people and stick around for pizza, look no further!
Kick-off event
As usual, we’ll start things off with our big kick-off event on October 8 at 7 pm at the Wirtschaftsuniversität (WU) in room TC 4.12, which you definitely shouldn’t miss out on. There you’ll have the chance to get to know us, receive all the relevant info about debating and witness a great show debate!
Weekly trainings
In the following weeks, we’ll meet during lecture periods…
… for German beginners’ training every Monday at 7 pm (starting October 13)
… and for English beginners’ training every Wednesday at 7 pm (starting October 15).
We’ll always be somewhere between the third and fifth floor of the TC building at the WU. For the exact dates and rooms, please refer to the tables below or consider joining our Discord Server, where we’ll always post all the info a few days in advance. If you are unsure where the rooms exactly are, please have a look at the WU Campusplan.

Attendance
If you can attend all sessions that’s amazing – but we know you are busy so if you can’t attend all sessions that’s also totally fine. Even if they’re best experienced in full, the sessions are mostly self-contained! You also don’t have to be a student or prepare anything specific – just bring yourself (and ideally pen and paper)! We don’t require any prerequisites and no registration is needed but feel free to sign up for the beginners’ training here just to help us gauge interest.
